Trailer: Bicycle Face

A non-fiction audiovisual project that explores the relationship between women and bicycles from a contemporary perspective. Through archival images, texts, fiction, and sounds, it reflects on female freedom and resilience. It is based on a historical event from the 19th century when the supposed "bicycle face" "illness" was invented to discourage women from riding bicycles.
